Was it just me, or did Amsterdam just sound the incoming attack alarm system?

I have heard about this, but somehow missed it in my two plus years here. Apparently they test the alarms once a year to make sure they are in working order, while in actuality they have not been used since WWII (thankfully).

What a freaky thing to hear.

Everyone- into the bomb shelters!!!

Every first Monday of the month, 12pm sharp. Which leaves us with the question: what to do in case of a serious emergency at exactly that time?

OK, so that means I have missed it over 24 times. How is that possible???

I suppose we can go by the accompanying bomb sounds, if ever an attack does occur?
